The broadband industry is changing at a speed unheard of. The day has passed where 750MHz was considered superior. We are now in the millennium of technology that 1GHz is now the standard. As capital is needed for upgrading systems, we have come to bring a different approach to the terminology “Upgrade”.

At Upstate Broadband we are here to provide you not only with a source of legacy equipment, but the service and dedication needed to fulfill your highest requirements.

In August of 2004 Upstate Broadband and Cooper Salvage out of Jefferson Oregon partnered together to provide a full wreck-out recycling program in which we can provide the up most service and superior pricing to fulfill any system upgrading or damage control. We understand that price per pound along with excellent service is most important however there is no reason why both can’t be fulfilled. Upstate Broadband will provide impeccable service from start to finish.

With locations both in Greenville South Carolina and Jefferson Oregon, this now provides a full range of services coast to coast.

Frequent Asked Questions When Choosing a Broadband Surplus Purchasing Agent

Frequent Asked Questions

•Do I have to spend a lot of time trying to package this broadband equipment up and find a way to ship the equipment I have?

Not at all. We can come to your location on site and package the equipment and either truck it back to our warehouse location or bring it to a local terminal.

•If I choose to ship it to Upstate Broadband what shipping options are available?

For small items we prefer UPS. For larger items requiring a pallet we use YRC freight services.

•Do I need a pallet or shrink-wrap to ship via Roadway?

In most case YRC’s local shipping terminal in your local area has access to pallets and shrink-wrap and can completely assist with all shipments. We also will take care of all paper work. All you have to do is print the Bill of Laden and address shipping label which we provide and bring the equipment and forms to your local shipping terminal and they will take care of the rest.

•How soon is the payment sent after shipments are sent?

As soon as the shipment arrives in our warehouse we will go through the equipment to ensure everything is there and in the condition as agreed upon. Once this is confirmed the payment is sent the next business day. YRC usually takes 3 to 7 days in transit for deliveries. If we come to your location and inventory the equipment on location, then payment is rendered the same day.

If there is a large project which will require more revenue than an average project, Upstate Broadband is financially able to handle this without having our customers wait 30 to 60 to 120 days for there funds.

We can handle projects from the East Coast to the West Coast. From Cable TV Wreck-out, Cable Upgrade Excess to Surplus Inventory and Asset Inventory Control.

Upstate Broadband does not in any shape or form purchase stolen excess line CATV equipment. We require a full legal bill of sale to be completed and signed before any transaction is completed.
